West Virginia

Common pitfalls
Mistakes we see installers make when navigating West Virginia licensing.
- West Virginia requires BOTH the Fire Marshal Electrical License AND the WV Division of Labor Contractor License - two agencies, two applications.
- Annual renewal cycle. Failing to renew either license suspends the business operation.
- Charleston, Huntington, and Morgantown each have local permit and inspection processes.
