Common pitfalls
Mistakes we see installers make when navigating Arkansas licensing.
- Burglar alarm and fire alarm work falls under the Arkansas State Police's Regulatory Services Division, separate from the Electrical Examiners Board.
- Texas Master Electrician exam reciprocity applies; check current rules before assuming your TX or LA Master will transfer.
- The qualifying individual (Master Electrician) cannot qualify more than one contractor at a time.
