CTS-I extends the CTS credential with a specialist examination focused on AV installation. The credential validates competency in cabling, mounting, configuration, integration, and on-site commissioning of commercial AV systems. Many corporate, education, and government AV specifications require CTS-I on the install crew.

AV installation technicians and crew leads at commercial AV integrators. The CTS-I is frequently spec'd as a requirement on the install side of bid documents.
