CTS-D extends CTS with a designer-focused specialist examination. CTS-D holders validate competency in AV system design: needs analysis, signal flow design, room acoustics, sightline analysis, infrastructure planning, and documentation. Many corporate and government bid specs require a CTS-D on the design team or as the stamping designer of record.

AV designers, design-build integrators, and AV consultants. CTS-D is the credential commonly required on the design side of commercial AV bids.

Hold the CTS credential.
