Security Industry Association
SIA represents the security industry at the manufacturer and integrator level. The two flagship products are the ISC West (Las Vegas) and ISC East (New York) trade shows, jointly produced with RX Global, which are the largest security trade events in North America. SIA also issues the SICC (Certified Cybersecurity in Physical Security) credential, runs standards committees (OSDP, ONVIF integration), and produces market research data on industry size and growth.

Why it matters
If you install commercial physical security, ISC West is the trade show where you see every product before you bid it. SIA membership is more relevant for manufacturers than installers; installer-focused programming runs through ESA / NSCA.
